We are Dilara and Onur, a married couple with two kids and a dog, who decided to create Pattern Me Wild couple of years after moving from their beautiful hometown Istanbul to the World’s most livable place, Melbourne.

With our years of passion for interior design and love for vintage lifestyle, it was inevitable that we would end up creating a shop which brings oriental essence of vintage and antique rugs to this end of the World. We aim to stay current or even be ahead of our time without forgetting our past by bridging our iconic heritage background with today’s and tomorrow’s modern world.

We exclusively source and sell unique vintage and antique rugs with a history of several decades and sometimes even a century, for those who are in love with old-timers' craftsmanship, like ourselves. Our focus of interest and our expertise are on handwoven tribal and village pieces of Persian, Caucasian and Anatolian origin.

Our rugs are carefully selected and rejuvenated by deftly repairing their defects and correcting their flaws before we list them. Having said that, we are in love with the lived-on aura of antique rugs; they mostly happen to be so beautiful with their naturally worn condition that we can't help but leave them as they are.

At Pattern Me Wild we acknowledge climate change, care about the one and only world we live in and strive to do our part as a small business for a better future.

We collaborate with One Tree Planted, a global nonprofit organization, simply with the aim of giving back to the environment. By each item you will purchase from our antique rug shop, we will donate $15,- AUD to One Tree Planted and you will not only be a part of the history but also a caretaker for the next generations by helping create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world.
